Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lucas: Simple Baby Tracker ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Lucas is a baby tracking application that allows parents and caregivers to record and monitor feeding, sleep, diaper changes, growth, and other baby care activities. The app provides charts, insights, and reports based on data you enter.

3. Not Medical Advice

IMPORTANT: Lucas is an informational tracking tool only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical care. Specifically:

• The app does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment recommendations
• Growth charts and percentiles are for informational reference only
• Development milestones are general guidelines, not diagnostic criteria
• Temperature readings and health records are based on user input and are not verified
• Always consult your pediatrician or healthcare provider for medical concerns

4. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use this app
• You agree not to misuse the service or attempt to access it through unauthorized means

5. Payment

Lucas is a one-time paid app. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or recurring charges. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, and content are owned by the developer. WHO growth chart data is used under the terms provided by the World Health Organization. CDC milestone data is public domain information.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

We are not liable for:

• Data loss due to device failure, user error, or circumstances beyond our control
• Decisions made based on information displayed in the app
• Inaccuracies in growth charts, milestone data, or any calculated values

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. You may delete your account and all data from within the app. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service for violations of these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
